Hi Brad-
I too want to get my Savage to sound like a motorcycle. I've considered the Jardines and Supertrapps (read the many, many, many postings below on the subject).
What I think I'm going to do is the "Mike Hartman" muffler mod (see below "Hartman muffler mod..." posted on May 22, 2001. It's cheap and seems like the the effect is what I want. I'm not big on the enormous size/look of the the original, but hey.
I'm probably going to do this over the next winter riding break. Let me know how it works out if you do it soon.
